I love airports; I love everything about them. I love the business logistics behind them and trying to understand the different moving parts that allow them to run as smoothly as they do—for the most part. I love the human interaction that goes on in airports. Happy and sad hellos and goodbyes. I love watching people who wander confused throughout the terminals and watching the people traveling for business versus those who are on a family vacation. I love the spiritual freeing that airports allow for—being able to leave something behind and jet-setting off to a new destination.

I even love the physical component because it takes a certain level of skill to manage a large purse, a 50-pound checked bag, a wheeled carry-on, scarves and a jacket- because it is always freezing on airplanes- and doing this all with a dress and heels…
